BemerkungenInformation provided is by my best estimate. I did not have an accurate time stamp as I was not checking my clock, to preserve my night vision. I also failed to get accurate measurements at the time of the event, and am doing my best to recall the following day. I started watching the meteor shower at roughly 1:10am EST and concluded at 1:45am. Fireball estimated to have occurred between 1:15am and 1:30am.The fireball initially seemed like a bright meteorite; it increased in luminosity over the 4 seconds it was visible before disappearing. At the end of the event a smoke trail was illuminated, possibly by the fireball exploding or fragmenting, but I was not able to view that level of detail. As soon as the light had faded the smoke trail was no longer visible.
